Moving objects precisely with sound - EPFL
2024年6月25日 · EPFL researchers have succeeded in directing floating objects around an aquatic obstacle course using only soundwaves. Their novel, optics-inspired method holds great promise for biomedical applications such as noninvasive targeted drug delivery.
Training algorithm breaks barriers to deep physical neural networks - EPFL
2023年8月12日 · EPFL researchers have developed an algorithm to train an analog neural network just as accurately as a digital one, enabling the development of more efficient alternatives to power-hungry deep learning hardware.
Research ‒ LWE ‐ EPFL
We research how to shape the momentum of sound to move small objects in challenging environments, such as inhomogeneous or dynamic media. We develop physical neural networks with highly efficient training and inference capabilities.
