Interpreting Lyngsat Data There seems to be a lot of confusion when it comes to reading and using the data from Christian Lyngemark’s wonderful satellite info site at www.lyngsat.com . For most satellite veterans this website carries a lot of weight in being a great up-to-date reference tool, especially for checking active transponders.

2006年1月31日 · I understand some of the nomenclature on the LyngSat charts for each satellite, but there are some things that I don't understand. 1) What are the red capital letters in the fourth and fifth columns? (variously: A, N, U, F) 2) There seem to be multiple programs for a single transponder channel for the DVB channels.

2006年2月12日 · Does take a while to sink in, the good thing about Lyngsat is if you just put your cursor on A or F or whatever it tell you what it means. A for example is the web site or address of the channel. Also the color key is on the bottom of main page.

2006年12月26日 · On the Lyngsat site theres a link to a ton of free streaming channels , under the Free-TV heading. For me , the only thing I could get to work was some arabic channel and CNBC, which really loads as "MoneyTV: or something like that, and BYU In ternational.

2021年12月28日 · Use lyngsat which is fairly accurate. Ignore circular satellites such as Nimiq, Dish, DirecTV since they all contain scrambled channels and you can't view. Only look for linear satellites for now. The following are the best: 87W, 89W, 91W, 95W, 97W, 99W, 101W, 103W, 113W, 115W, 117W, 121W, 123W, 125W.

2011年9月15日 · BTW Lyngsat now labels AC3 and AAC audio with a red color but will in the future consider to use a different color for AAC. TVU on the same sat uses AAC audio.
