2021年6月5日 · Agree for a normal set up , but i'm not running normal my set up my friend. i'm running 4x 2tb Sabrent Plus on a pcix 4.0 raid card on raid0 and it gets toasty , hence i need water cooling for it. i already have the 4 corsair water cooling heatsinks for the crazy set up , bare in mind i'm in the search for maximum performance for benchmarks purposes and not daily use.

2023年4月21日 · small volume drives don't generate nearly as much heat so the aibs are expecting only 500gb/1tb m.2 drives by the basis of heatsink provided. only a very few boards have the thermal capacity to handle 2 or 4tb drives w/o throttling. and those boards typically have heatpipes to very beefy vrm heatsinks or active fans.

2021年12月7日 · @fantaskarsef is not as tragic even for the case , if you wish you can stick a heatsink and lower it a lot but still the amount of heat dumped in your case will be identical as far the ssd uses the same wattage to operate if it operates at 50 c or 76 the waste heat energy it will put out is the same what changes is how much you spread it .
