An increased heat capacity of the braking system and cooling systems that allow for long-lasting high performance under extreme driving conditions, especially in combination with high outside temperatures.

Sporting accessories created by Motorsport and installed on ordinary BMW cars go under the designation M-Technic. These include cosmetic accessories like body kits, seats, and steering wheels as well as mechanical enhancements, most frequently in the form of brake and suspension upgrades.

2010年11月9日 · The "M -tech package" was a cosmetic change of the 530/540 to resemble to a M5 in almost every way. The big cosmetic difference were the bumpers: T-bar for M-tech vs M bumper for the M, the elefant ear rearview mirrors on M-tech, no alcantra head liner. Other than that, cosmetic, they looked the same. The wheels were also staggered.

2010年8月14日 · Correct... my understanding is that the aftermarket producer (3D?) calls them M-Tech, while BMW OEM calls it M-Sport. Essentially it's the front fascia, side sills and rear diffuser additions to the car. Though BMW's OEM M-Sport also includes suspension upgrades as well, which the M-Tech kit does not include.

2005年4月29日 · Okay, we always thought that M-tech 1 is the same as we call it here in the US, M-Aero. Some fanatic in Europe actually said there's actually a M-tech I but it was so ugly, BMW discontinued it. Here's a pix taken from the same thread but I'm not sure that this is what they talking about M-tech I.

2010年2月10日 · I'm going to be looking at a 325is soon and it says "everything M tech" what does this mean? It means that they are parts as used on M3. M Body look. if it's a 1994 325is, its a fairly rare 325is MTech, which has M3 look, M3 suspension (and i think brakes), M3 interior, etc etc. Just not the engine and transmission.
