The M13 multiple gun motor carriage (MGMC), otherwise known as the M13 half-track, was a self-propelled anti-aircraft gun used by the U.S. Army during World War II that was armed with two .50 caliber M2HB heavy-barrel Browning machine guns.

2024年12月7日 · The M13 used a White 160AX four-cycle, in-line petrol, six-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. It developed 147 hp at 3,000 rpm and 325 ft-lbs of torque at 1,200 rpm. The M13’s engine was connected through a Spicer 3461 constant mesh transmission with four forward speeds and one reverse.

The M13 was based on the half-track personnel carrier M3, and used the M33 Maxson gun mount also used in the MGMC M14. The M13 was actually developed before the M14, and the M3 half-track was the vehicle used to test the M33 gun mount, but the first M14 was accepted a month before the first M13s.
