The M 14/41 was a four-crew medium tank that served from 1941 in the Royal Italian Army. The official Italian designation was Carro Armato M 14/41. The tank was first employed in the North African Campaign where its shortcomings quickly became apparent.

By 1942, innovation in the tank design had moved fast forward. This model was produced under the M14/41 designation; M standing for "medio", followed by the weight (14 short tons) and the year of production (1941). It was also simply known as the "M41". In all, 752 were built, more than the M13/40 it was derived from.

The Carro Armato M13/40 and M14/41 were Italian medium tanks used during World War II. These tanks were designed to replace the earlier and less effective M11/39 tank. The M13/40 was the earlier model, entering service in 1940, while the M14/41 was a slightly improved version introduced in 1941.
