ACOG on an M-14? - M14 Forum
2020年1月23日 · It appears the goal was to push (or "sweep back") these military 4x ACOG optics as far back as possible on the M14 platform - so that it aligns with rear of the receiver, presumable for proper eye relief - while not requiring the rear iron sight to be removed. However, different ACOG optics might not need such a "swept-back" optic mount...
ACOG?? Anyone? | M14 Forum
2024年7月16日 · I used a mount designed for the PVS-4 night vision scope to mount an ACOG on my M14. I was using the ACOG TA01-NSN model with the rail clamp removed. Had it for quite a number of years. It always felt too high off the bore, even though I used a cheek riser. Finally sold it here on this forum. Check out the link for photos.
Best ACOG / M14 combo - M14 Forum
2008年2月16日 · Two problems with M14’s and ACOG's are eye relief and height. Most ACOG’s have short eye relief (TA 31 series is the shortest) and most of the mounts are for AR’s and mount the scope rather high. I feel the two best choices IMO for the M14 are the TA11 and the TA33 series, the 11 has more eye relief than the 31 and the 33 has more than ...
Socom/M1A & Trijicon ACOG? - M14 Forum
2005年11月10日 · Most ACOG's with a .308 reticle are calibrated for full-length barrels IIRC. You may find some variance (especially at distance) from what the full-length barrel provides as far as velocity/trajectory and what a 16" barrel puts out.
Proper ACOG for Scout........ - M14 Forum
2010年10月13日 · I also read a few articles where guys were using a 5.56 acog on M14's (full length barrel of course) in Afghan; making consistent hits on targets at 800yrds when conditions allow. So, I know there are different types of ACOG, and I wasnt sure if anyone has used one on a scout before that trolls this forum like me.
Added an ACOG to my MK14 MOD 0 - M14 Forum
2007年4月10日 · Thought I'd post a pic here of an ACOG on a GDI G1-OSM scope mount. I know there are folks out there that keep asking about getting proper eye relief with an ACOG on a M1A/M14, and with this GDI mount it's perfect. Also added the LaRue QR Harris bipod mount - also a work of art.
ACOG - M14 Forum
2021年9月12日 · Check out the CASM EX by m14.ca Granted you essentially lose the irons, albeit a fixed peep in the mount, it would easily allow you to place the acog fore and aft to find your proper eye relief. Only thing to be mindful of would be the comb height might start getting tall, but this holds true for all the AR biased fixed base optics
Aimpoint T2 or Mini ACOG - M14 Forum
2024年10月10日 · Option 2: Use a green circle-dot 1.5x mini (low mount) ACOG on a Cogburn Arsenal mount. With the Aimpoint, I can get it pretty low mounted on the Ultimak, so cheek riser would not be an issue. It uses batteries, so there's that, but 50,000 hours is a long time.
Trijicon ACOG | M14 Forum
2011年12月8日 · The 3x ACOG is supposed to be 1.9" of eye relief, but it seems to be able to give you a little more than that. It's forgiving that way. It is popular. Second to the TA11 3.5x The 3.5x ACOG gives you probably the best eye relief and ability to do what ACOGs do. It is the one, most want, and use for 3 gun ect. They are the least sold on the used ...
Vltor Modstock with ACOG -- lots of pics - M14 Forum
2011年3月6日 · Before my friend came by to get the stock, I had the chance to put it on my rifle with my ACOG and play with it a little bit. I took some pics, got into some different positions and did dry firing, and weighed it. Bottom line -- it appears to be just what the doctor ordered for mounting an ACOG on an M-14. The setup in the pics is as follows:
