Installing new auto sear spring in m16 lower fire control group
2009年11月19日 · Are their any tips for installing the auto sear with the spring so that it will fit into the bushing slot and grap the auto sear pin properly. It's a chore everytime I try to do it. I'm thinking there has to be a way to do this easily. It's a DPMS fire control group with 0-3-S-A, settings. The auto-sear appears fairly standard.

The M16 bolt carrier will have about a 2" closed section at the rear that actually trips the auto sear in full-auto fire. Semi-auto versions have either a reduced closed bottom section (about 1/2"), or a completely open bottom (made so that an adapter to M-16 configuration cannot be installed).

2014年11月22日 · As for just buying an M16 parts kit with the auto sear, I believe that is legal, but keeping the auto parts would be at best be a gray area. An AR-15 lower would have to be modified to accept the auto parts. I believe someone with drill press and a jig could accomplish this without too much difficulty. Your coworkers are wrong.

2011年1月19日 · If a M16 receiver is not drilled right the timing will be off and the receiver will have to be scraped. However I believe most all transferables don't have this problem. So when you use a RDIAS it may not be lined up front to back perfectly, so that is the reason why timing is needed for a RDIAS and not a M16 receiver.

2016年3月3日 · Theres a difference. The rdias is designed to fit into a standard semi auto only lower. Which the rdias its self is considered the machine gun. You still need an m16 lower parts kit (trigger, selector, ect. You just dont need the auto sear) for it to function.
