I really like the 5D Tactical 80% jig, how it has the depth charts right on the jig, and was wondering if somebody offers something like that, but with both an M16 and AR-15 Fire Control Pocket template?

2022年5月29日 · He designed a 3D printed adapter plate that is re-dimensioned to mill a mil-spec pocket instead of a cuck pocket. You still need the rest of the 5D jig to hold this adapter plate. In theory you could probably 3D print the rest of the jig, but steel/aluminum has significantly less flex than plastic, so you could end up with some bad dimensioning.

2022年11月6日 · Having a jig that can cut pockets and having a jig that comes like that are two different things. Overall, its a very edge case need and most people will never need it. But, its not hard to do with a little looking, plenty of people publish the modifications online (some of them you do need to pay for).

Huh, it is advertised as M16 cut. It's so weird that the pockets vary randomly across the rest product line though. The product photo for their Navy and Air Force lowers hint at an M16 cut in one picture but have a different cut on the other picture, and the Army and USMC lowers show a non-M16 cut. I'll add a little note about them.
