The M25 or London Orbital Motorway is a major road encircling most of Greater London. The 117-mile-long (188 km) motorway is one of the most important roads in the UK and one of the busiest. Margaret Thatcher opened the final section in 1986, making the M25 the longest ring road in Europe upon opening.

2009年5月15日 · The M25 isn't continuous, but the 117 or 118 miles (estimates vary) includes the shortish length of A road. The carriageways are 36 feet, and the central reservation is around 15 feet.

According to the Facebook-page of Richard McChesney, he finished a full circumnavigation of the M25 motorway around London (158 miles/254 km) in 43 hours and 58 minutes (April 28-30, 2017?), doing this without sitting down once, doing it in a supported style.
