2015年1月2日 · Going price is $400-500 each (brand new) plus shipping. Not bad for a seat that retails for $2,500 (Surplus retail sticker). I just finished installing mine. The ride is much better and the seats helped me upgrade from lap belts to 3 point integrated seat belts. Just run an air line that terminates at a 1/4" push-connect air fitting to each seat.

2018年6月12日 · Installed this seat and box in my 817. Made the seat base (rigid) and significantly modified a box I got on ebay. My M35A3 gets two of those seats. I'm still looking for the springer seat base for the passenger side and will make another console box again too.

2013年10月3日 · Wooden troop seats should be made out of a hardwood, not 2 x 4's. Red Oak should be good, and it is usually found at Lowes or Home Depot in lengths that can be used (but please be seated when you see the prices per foot - it ain't cheap). All will have to be cut down from longer lengths (IE buy 14' for the longer seat pieces and the back rails).

2024年7月6日 · The spring seat bearings need to be adjusted every 6000 miles, I believe, as well as lubricated. The bearing setup is similar to the wheel bearings, and use the same lock nuts. If they aren't adjusted properly, there will be too much horizontal play on the spring seat and the lock nut threads on the bracket will strip.

2011年9月17日 · Slowly read post 2. I said to remove the seat(not the whole seat base) to get to the seat back hardware. Very easy to do. After you drop your tools a few times behind the seat and have to pick them up, you'll see why I said to to it this way. HS backed that up with a couple nice pics to show how easy it is to do what I suggested.
