2022年3月24日 · In 2014, the Army decided to update its service rifle inventory from a mix of M16A2/A4 Rifles and M4 Carbines to an inventory of 5.56 mm M4A1 Carbines. The M4 Product Improvement Program (PIP) converts fielded M4s to M4A1s by adding a heavy barrel, a fully automatic capable trigger mechanism and an ambidextrous fire control assembly.

The FCG has three positions: SAFE, SEMI, and BURST. The earliest models featured an A2 upper receiver; flat-top models have replaced them. M4A1. Same as the M4, except for the FCG, which has AUTO parts in place of the BURST FCG. The M4A1 also has the heavier SOCOM profile barrel, as opposed to the Government profile barrel used on the M4.

2018年8月30日 · M16 and M4 FCG are the same parts and either a full auto group, or bust FCG can be used in either. The difference in parts is if the FCG is a A1 full auto FCG, or A3 burst FCG that have their specific parts instead.

The M4A1 is a fully automatic variant of the M4 carbine – a shorter and lighter variant of the M16. It went into service in 1994 to replace the M16 in certain roles. The M4A1 trigger group operates on either Safe, Semi-Automatic, or Fully Automatic settings. Cartridges are the 5.56x45mm (.223) NATO cartridge that is magazine fed.

2020年1月4日 · It’s all Colt from the 14.5” barrel to the N1 stock and FCG. The only thing wrong so far is the lower which I have a PSA M4A1 lower on the way until I can get a Colt one. That’s also a KAC RAS, VFG, and Rail Covers with Vero Beach markings.
