Not only did it standardize the camouflage patterns used at that time, it was designed so that it would be very easy to repaint any vehicle for different conditions.

2009年2月19日 · This Kiwi (New Zealand Army) M577 (same basic MERDC pattern) looks to still be dark green behind the skirts. As does this Fitters' M113.
