Based on the M577A3 command post vehicle, 23 vehicles were in service with the Canadian Army. Nicknamed the 'Queen Mary', the vehicle is equipped with an upgraded communications suite. Externally, additional stowages are mounted on the vehicle's roof, along with removable antenna masts.

The M577A2 is a product improved version of the M577A1 and is provided with improved cooling, suspension system and personnel heating system. When fitted with the Reliability Improved Selected Equipment (RISE) power pack, the vehicle is designated the M577A3. Total production of the M577 amounted to 1,152 units.

2024年7月27日 · Armored Command Post Carrier M577. The air-cooled 28-volt, 4.2-kilowatt DC generator was equipped with a 6 gallon (23L) fuel tank. It fords water up to 40 inches (102 cm) deep. It can move at high speeds on improved roads and highways. It is air transportable, but not air droppable.
