Closest ammo to M882 - AR15.COM
2012年7月31日 · I've seen Federal M882 for sale, maybe Ammoman, Natchez, or other similar online ammo vendor. I just like it because it's a little hotter, the way 9mm Parabellum is supposed to be, compared to most commercial 9mm.
M882 confusion - AR15.COM
2016年3月18日 · I am reading a number of contradictory numbers for specs on M882 9mm ball. I have seen specs showing 115 and 124 gr bullets as well as velocities for the 124 (Which I believe is the correct weight) ranging from ~1175 - 1263 fps.
Surplus M882 Nato 9mm in cans > Ammunition > AR15.COM
2012年11月24日 · The NATO or M882 round is ‘hotter,’ with higher pressures and velocity than SAAMI standards allow for on the civilian market. What this also means is that the popular Hi-Power, the firearm used in the testing for this review, is not considered ‘safe’ to use with NATO spec ammunition; along with a plethora of other firearms besides those ...

shooting M882 out of my 9MM AR15...can the bolt and upper …
2009年12月2日 · I'm talking USPSA 9mm major stuff that pushed a 124 gr. bullet to almost 1400 fps from a 5" handgun. That's definitely hotter than any 9mm nato stuff I've seen. As someone else stated, you'll want a heavy buffer if you plan on shooting a lot of it. I use the Enidine hydraulic buffers in my 9mm AR's with very good results.

2021年9月28日 · I'm very curious if it does this over the older M882 124gr FMJ. Or is the new round designed for some improved lite barrier penetration? I would have assumed that the Mil would try to create something similar to the M855A1: …

2020年5月10日 · The official 9mm round used by the military was/is the M882. It used a 124gr FMJ at about 1200fps. It was made by several manufacturers like Winchester, Lake City, Federal, and IMI. It's in the process of being replaced with the M1152 115gr truncated cone (flat point) FMJ. I got a ten shot average of 1192fps with that load from my M9A1.
M1152 replacing M882? > Ammunition - AR15.COM
2020年1月3日 · Any expectation of M882 (especially Q4318) being discontinued? Or will it just be like m193? I expect that the 115gr swc will certainly increase lethality, over a RN, which of course is great as ammo-fort blocks, and from TSUSA at least, the price is comparable to the elder m882 and similar euro NATO loads.

2010年12月14日 · Thanks for all the help with the 9mm M882 bullet weight issue. Is their a source for used commercial packaging for 9mm ammo. WRA, R-P, Fed, etc.? I would imagine that some law enforcement training centers must go through a lot of factory ammo, and I wonder how I can get some of the discarded boxes, etc.? Or do they use mostly remanufactured ammo?
