I am a first-year Phd student of CSE at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), under the supervision of Prof. Qifeng Chen. I obtained my M.S. in Computer Science at Tsinghua University in 2024, supervised by Prof. Xiu Li and B.Eng in Computer Science at Taiyuan University of Technology in 2024.

Professor Ma (马跃) earned BSc in Optimal Control Theory (Math) from Xiamen University, China, and a joint PhD degree in Economics and Econometrics from Manchester University, the UK.

At the age of 11, Ma Yue won the Xi'an city and Shaanxi province all-around championships and beat renowned International Wushu champion Zhao Changjun. [1] In 1983, he won a four gold awards, placing firsts in fanzi, pigua, short weapon and straight sword. [1] Ma Yue has since had a long career in the martial arts.

Ma Yue was born in Beijing and studied at Beijing Film Academy. In June 2016, she signed with an agency and officially entered the entertainment industry. She debuted as 'Bi Yao' in a Dragon TV drama 'Lost Love in Times'.
