2023年1月25日 · Good: Square back receiver , Mak 90's are a proven forever riffle that will bring many generations of shooters joy, butter smooth trigger, much heavier receiver and barrel than many AKM's. Bad: Cost of Chicom stock set, and you need the entire set. Will be $500 all day for a decent one unfortunately.

2022年3月23日 · Thanks to all with your suggestions. Got lucky…the LGS where I bought my MAK-90 called and advised that they forgot to give me the wood upper and lower furniture. Picked it up. It is the original Chu wood for the MAK-90. I will buy an original pistol grip later. Sure do enjoy this forum and all the great info.!

2012年6月4日 · One more thing, and this is purely for your edification...the MAK-90 is a Modified AK of 1990. These are Chinese AKs modified to pass the import ban as "sporters" by having their bayonets removed, bayonet lugs ground off, pistol grips replaced, etc. The Maadi you have is a purely Egyptian AK.

2008年8月18日 · I have found this to be an easy way for me to remove the fcg on the MAK 90.I hope this is helpful to those who have tried to remove the safety lever first only to have it catch on the disconnecter. First as always insure the weapon is unloaded. Remove the receiver cover, recoil assembly and bolt/carrier.

So 1990 became the first year for the rifle, and thanks to william jefferson clinton and a corrupt congress, the AMK-90 was banned by name as well as the rifle. So for dating, some had a date stamp in front of the serial number.
