2013年12月9日 · The MB-tex feels too slick and somewhat "greasy" (because I believe it's a petroleum based material). Over time, the leather will have a nice patina and if well-cared for it should last a long time.

2006年10月20日 · Mb tex is more durable and easy to care for. If you had a coupe or a sedan i would vote for leather as well. BuT the leather in convertible does not last as long as you think it would. It is true that leather is more comfortable to seat on for a while, but after 2 years it will loose it's confort because the sun and moisture will do their job.

2009年1月18日 · I'm about to buy a 2009 ml 320 "bluetec" for my wife and have yet to decide between leather and mb tex. The salesman (of course) said that mb ex is great... better than leather... holds up well. I've never yet had a car with vinyl seats. All advice with respect to leather vs mb tex appreciated.

2009年5月31日 · I had the same fading problem on on of my rear panels in my MB. My interior is also black. Doc B took care of the discoloration, blending in very well to the original black color and now you cannot tell the difference. I know the MB tex is a different material that leather, but this stuff seems to take to it very well.

2010年1月28日 · Both the dealer and MBUSA state that the MB-Tex and dash, etc. should be cleaned with a very diluted, mild detergent. NO protecting treatments recommended. I have read where Lexol Vinylex and 303 Company products are supposed to be good for protecting both the upholstery and the dash, etc...
