The Modified Barium Swallow Impairment Profile provides a standardized protocol to interpret and communicate swallowing impairment in a manner that is specific, consistent, accurate and objective. Participants will learn to employ a standardized assessment of swallowing impairment through examination of 17 physiologic components of the swallowing mechanism in adults. The training platform includes videofluoroscopic images paired with custom-built animations to depict swallowing impairments.
