2025年2月7日 · For MC Cable, PI No. 2883-NFPA 70-2023 reads almost identical to the PI on NM cable, just with the name changed. You could still use tie wire if UL 2239 has standards for tie wire. Metal Clad or MC cable is different. Regular MC has a green EGC, MC-ap has a #10 aluminum conductor in contact with the armor to create the EGC.

MC cable consists of an outer jacket of thin metal armor and is filled with individually insulated conductors which are contained in a jacket. MC cable has an ECG, but the armor isn't suitable for grounding.

When I did a search for 'through penetrating products' I found datasheets for various firestop assemblies, and those datasheets specified the specific MC cable they were listed with.
