2013年1月16日 · I'm thinking of buying a MC 7 1973 with a 8v71 engine at a great price. Is there any items to worry about on this bus. This is my first bus. The engine and auto trans were rebuilt 5,000 miles ago. We have a 73 MCI MC-7 combo freighter which is a MC-7 with dual tires on the tag axle for more weight.

The Motor Coach Industries MC-7 was a 47-passenger motorcoach produced from 1968 to 1973. Along with the MC-6, it was MCI's first 40-foot coach. While the MC-6 was largely experimental and produced in small numbers, 2,550 MC-7 coaches were produced—1,400 of them built for Greyhound USA.

This luxury MCI Bus/RV conversion is based on a 1973 million mile MCI commercial bus chassis. The manufacturer is "Motor' Coach Industries International Inc." (Mel), located in Schaumberq, Illinois. Unlike all RV manufacturers, MCl has been building these heavy duty aluminum and stainless steel bus chasses for over 50 years.
