The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office SWAT Division is comprised of three units, the Tactical Operations Unit (TOU), the Canine Unit (K9), and the Explosive Ordinance Disposal Unit (EOD). The SWAT Division is currently on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year.

We want to welcome K-9 Scout and K-9 Bolo to our K-9 Unit!! Meet the newest members of the MCSO K-9 team – K-9 Scout and K-9 Bolo! Scout will be partnered with MCSO K-9 Cpl. Branden Donahue and Bolo will be partnered with K-9 Cpl. Alan Lee. K-9 Scout is a 2-year old German Shepherd and Bolo is a 1 ½ year old German Shepherd both are from Hungary.

In 2014, the Modoc County Sheriff’s K-9 Unit was founded. We have three dogs in all. Depending on their specialty, they may receive training in scent work for search and rescue, drug detection, evidence, article searches, and or protection. A deputy must have at least two years of patrol experience to become a K-9 handler.

2020年3月6日 · On Tuesday, Feb. 18, after multiple tests that spanned over a course of six hours, the four K9's and their handlers of the Madison County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) were re-certified for the 2020-2021 year. Certifying officials from the Leon County Sheriff's Office came to Madison to give an objective evaluation of the dogs.
