Anyone using MDT metal/poly mags? | Sniper's Hide Forum
2024年11月30日 · The current get MDT mags (gen 5) are the best AICS pattern mags out there. I've ran just about everything in just about every chassis and bottom metal over the last few years and these are the only ones I have yet to have issues with. I would be buying them jlin bulk right now if I didn't already have like 10 of them.
MDT AICS 308 Metal Magazine Review | Sniper's Hide Forum
2018年7月13日 · Thanks to @MDT_Josh I will be testing MDT's metal 10rd and new 12rd AICS pattern 308 magazines. The 12rd mags are new and will be available for purchase soon. Josh tells me the 10rd MDT mags are 0.75" shorter than a standard AICS magazine and use a double stack, single feed design. You can get these mags with or without a binder plate.
Official MDT 6BR Magazine Thread | Sniper's Hide Forum
2020年4月23日 · Hey Everyone, @MDT_Josh here with @MDT_OFFICIAL to talk about our newly released MDT Metal 6BR 12 round magazines! We've mentioned these magazines in a handful of other threads and answered some questions, but I'd like to group all of them into one here. We're really excited to see the support...
MDT 12rd 308 mags or AICS | Sniper's Hide Forum
2020年9月6日 · Right now I run the AI mags for 6.5x47 and the MDT mags for 6BRA. I didn't have an issue running the MDT 12s in the x47, it was just more convenient to get MDT spacers/springs and convert them to dasher mags for the BRA rather than buying kits for the AI mags. I could swap the guts back in the MDT mags and run 6.5x47 no problem.
223: MDT vs Accurate Mag follow-up | Sniper's Hide Forum
2011年4月26日 · I use the MDT mags in my Creedmoor. They work well for me. Only complaints I have are cartridge overall length (2.810) max), and the magazine bulges when you put more than 8 rounds in it. To the point that it won't slide into a PTG stealth bottom metal.
Magpul AICS mags... why? | Sniper's Hide Forum
2020年4月25日 · It did not work with Magpul mags but worked perfectly with the MDT polymer mags. No modifications were required to the action, the X-Ray, or the MDT magazines. The warnings on the page do only call out the Magpul polymer mags, not all polymer mags. I'd be surprised if the MDT didn't work in the Bravo, but I've been surprised before.
MDT .223 mag and KRG Bravo = No go | Sniper's Hide Forum
2008年2月29日 · Were it I, I'd go with the metal .223 mags. Just a cleaner, longer lasting solution IMHO. I like MDT, and the stuff they make, but poly mags in a precision rifle makes me squirm. Yes the metal mags cost more, but things like this show that in most cases, if you want a "AICS" compatible .223 mag, it pays to have the same dimensions, the full length.
MDT Metal Mag Issue | Sniper's Hide Forum
2017年12月12日 · Having feeding issues with my MDT 10 round metal mags in 3 lug actions, I am getting random failure to strip a round out of the magazine where the case does not come up correctly and the bolt rides over it. At that point if I touch the bullet pushing it down the bolt will strip the round...
MPA Chassis and MDT mags | Sniper's Hide Forum
2017年8月6日 · Being of the AR shooting tribe, I have a habit of slamming magazines home. Bad idea with the MDT polymer mags. If you slap the mag into the DBM well, the top round is likely to pop up at least partially out of the feed lips. I don't believe it's a design problem, since the mags work just fine when their handled properly. So, gently insert the mags.
MDT .223 Magazine Issues | Sniper's Hide Forum
2013年3月13日 · MDT plastic mags work swell in my 223 (Howa) with my chassis/DBM inlet (KRG), and my ammo (loaded to 2.26 OAL"). If I changed any one of those parameters, I may have a train wreck or it may all still work fine.
