2023年7月29日 · My MFJ-1708B and my other MFJ items work perfectly. The MFJ-1708B attenuates the signal 3-4 dB. This is logical because it splits the signal between two receivers. This is physics. This also happens with the very expensive TRX which have 2 RX. In QST there was a test report which also measured these 3-4 dB and showed that the function is perfect.

2020年8月20日 · I'm using an MFJ 1708B SDR switch. It seems to work well. I'm also running an AL-80B amplifier with no issues. The 1708 takes the input of the RSPdx to ground on transmit. I also have my RSPdx separated from the transceiver and amplifier by about 6 feet. I'm not sure how that particular factor is helping. I haven't had any issues yet.
