Not designed for transmitting, however if you have an HF radio capable of transmitting on antenna A and receiving on antenna B, then you can open up your ears and null out the noise.

2017年6月19日 · In 2016 I bought MFJ-974HB and MFJ-986 antenna tuners as well as an Ameritron AL-80B amplifier with the same kinds of issues I already mentioned above and I fixed everything. But I have to say that the two MFJ antenna tuners had a better matching range than the equivalent Palstar units that coast many 100's more.

2018年2月8日 · The MFJ-1868 is a low-cost ultra-wide-band discone antenna, with a receive (RX) range of 25-1300 MHz and it can be used to transmit (TX) from 50-1300 MHz. It can handle up to 200 Watts SSB. Ideal for 6/2/11 Meters, 70/33/23 CM ham bands. Excellent for testing various transmitters or to be used with any wide band SDR receiver.

2016年9月3日 · The antenna is directional and I can see on most signals 2-3 S unit jump by doing a fast direction adjustment. The coil for 40 and 30 meters is pretty cheaply made but does work. I am lazy so I just leave the jumper off and turn the ATU back on and let it rip. Once done the OCF antenna really will give you contacts even at 9 ft off the ground.

2024年4月25日 · Getting back to MFJ, one of the side-effects of Covid-19 was that workers became more empowered, realizing how much they were actually worth. Many restaurants and small businesses are actually starting to pay workers a living wage and/or offering other perks such as medical insurance so they can retain them.

2017年5月19日 · I am glad that you are enjoying your MFJ loop. I recently picked up a W6LVP Magnetic Loop a few weeks ago and put it up about 20 ft on a Channel Master rotator and use it as my receive antenna on my ham station while using a 132 ft Carolina Windom antenna for transmit. I really have found a tremendous difference in noise after going to a loop.

2021年6月1日 · But I confirm that on 80, 40, 30, 20, 17, 15, 12 m its SWR in my setup is less than 2. I'm on the air only 3 months (since March 8 2021 and already worked 56 countries on 6 continents. Antenna definitely cost it's price. Now I'm planning to buy another end fed from MFJ (only high power one) and to put it at the right angle to the first antenna.
