2016年4月8日 · @vkrules the oskerblock is a ok meter however it is not great across the whole frequency rage its claimed to cover..a 3:1 reading for a 150 ohm load at say 27mhz will not be the same at 3.5mhz or 150mhz (i believe that model was originally claimed to have a 3.5-150mhz range) any stripline type vswr meter has inbuilt inaccuracy across its full range..however if you are only using it for 25 ...

2016年4月8日 · The reason for my purchase of the MFJ 828 was the frequency counter. I plan on operatating an EF Johnson ranger on AM for local rag chew and the frequency counter makes it so much easier than having to zero beat it every time I change to a different frequency. Thanks again. P.s. I will post the outcome as soon as I get the meter back from MFJ.

After removing the pl 259 main antenna cable from the meter because of a lightning storm headed into my area I noticed the center copper core that's soldered to my lmr 400 pl259 had a slight solder bump on it I, decided to run a file over it.

2017年4月15日 · I purchased this 828 in July of 15. I did not open the box until September and begin using the meter. I immediately noticed it wasn't working properly. I put it back in the original shipping box and left it in the corner of the shack until I realize the warranty was running out. That was in june of 16. I sent to mfj for warranty service.

2015年11月22日 · I begin using it with the Madison and phantom, but began having problems soon after the purchase. It's under warranty, but after calling MFJ realized that the person I spoke to is either inept or just didn't want to bother helping me. I set the warning led and sound beep for 1. 3:9. With 20 Watts swing from my medicine on SSB the meter works fine.

2016年8月10日 · I purchased an MFJ 826 and out of the box it was horrible. The cross needle meter jumps all over the place before finally settling down but still doesn't jive with the digital side. The digital side of the meter is reading high on swr. Even testing with a dummy load the MFJ read 1.32 on the digital side and the analog cross needle was over 2.1:?.
