2021年8月25日 · I now own a MFJ 949E tuner and it works flawless. The only thing about the 949e is when I put it on 80 meters one about 4 years ago on 80 cw with a 100 watts, the coil on the inside of tuner kinda separated a little, but still work great.

2021年8月25日 · It's always a good Idea to open you MFJ manual tuner (to see if the manual is correct) to check which setting 0 or 10 is maximum capcitance, and maximum inductance. My oldest mfj 989c has minimum capacitance at zero and maximum at ten (or in the case of inductance zero or some high number).

2017年9月2日 · I've had my MFJ 949e tuner for over 15 years and it still works well. With my faithful home-brew 40 meter folded dipole that's constructed and fed with 300 ohm twin-lead, it terminates into an MFJ balun and from there RG-8X coax. Like the MFJ tuner, the balum is a wonderful performer.

2024年4月26日 · The last MFJ product I bought was a pair of bias-tees a couple of months ago. Over the years I've acquired an assortment of MFJ stuff. Their little switching 13.8V switching power supplies are FB. I have a MFJ-259B I bought 25 years ago that's still gets regular use. I have a AL-800H amp that I haven's used in many years.

2020年5月13日 · Hello all! put together a quick video on the MFJ-1982MP (300 watts) 132 foot end fed antenna as well as a 34 foot carbon fiber mast I picked up from GigaParts. I had the antenna in an inverted V configuration, and was very pleased with its performance. The best part was making a contact on 10m.

2021年5月26日 · But I confirm that on 80, 40, 30, 20, 17, 15, 12 m its SWR in my setup is less than 2. I'm on the air only 3 months (since March 8 2021 and already worked 56 countries on 6 continents. Antenna definitely cost it's price. Now I'm planning to buy another end fed from MFJ (only high power one) and to put it at the right angle to the first antenna.
