2021年12月20日 · I recently picked up an AV123 MFW-15 sub. Like almost all of them, the sub amp made the famous buzz! So, I removed the amp and now I'm looking at potentially upgrading the driver.

The MFW-15 features a 25mm front baffle and plenty of bracing along with a custom designed 15” driver, 350 watt high efficiency design amplifier with separate control panel for Level, Phase and Low Pass Frequency at the top back of the cabinet and an internally folded slot port.

2011年5月12日 · Murrel has a pdf that shows the five capacitors that need to be replaced on the 2nd generation MFW-15 amplifier. If you are handy, it is a very inexpensive repair (shipping more than parts) and has worked very well for a number of individuals. Fifteen months ago, I used a 500w PE BASH amp on a 9+ year old subwoofer with a failing amp.
