2020年5月25日 · Does anybody know if scratches in alloy can be removed relatively easily and has anybody tried it ? I certainly won’t be taking the surround out as you only see these scratches when the roof is off. I’ve rubbed with autosol metal polish but that just makes it all cleaner. 2024年3月14日 · I've always called that U-channel windshield moulding "coping". Have you tried spreading that extra length evenly all the way around the glass? That's the first thing I would attempt to do.

2015年7月12日 · I've had a look in my MGC manual (as the MGB one I have is dated before the GT was introduced) and it appears that there is the locking strip (which the tool will enable you to fit) and the finishing strip. Here are the instructions from that BMC manual. It mentions the inch wide chrome strip as the 'Finisher Strip' is fitted afterwards.
