MISB ST 0903 defines a metadata standard for tracks and associated indicators of motion for Motion Imagery. It specifies the constructs for reporting the motions of entities, the history of their motions, and the types of the entities being reported.

MISB 0903 defines additional keys for Video Moving Target Indicators (VMTI). Moving Target Indicators are reports on detections of objects in a FMV frame which appear to be moving, along with any additional descriptive information that the detector can provide.

This Engineering Guideline is designed to be used in conjunction with MISB EG 0601.1: UAV Datalink Local Data Set, MISB RP 0603: Common Time Reference for Digital Motion Imagery Using Coordinated Universal Time, and MISB EG 0102.5: Security Metadata Universal and Local Data Sets to cover security, timing, and primary exploitation metadata.

Metadata is generated in accordance with MISB standards 0102, 0601, 0603, 0604, and 0903. Selectable KLV elements may be chosen from a superset of the Motion Imagery Sensor Minimum Metadata Set defined in ST 0902. For conversion of values see Table 1 on page 16 of ST 0601. NOTE: KLV metadata is not available in Demo Mode.
