The White Pass and Yukon Route Class DL-535E (sometimes known as the MLW-Worthington Model Series C-14) is a series of narrow-gauge diesel locomotives that were custom-built by the Montreal Locomotive Works of Montreal, Quebec in Canada between 1969 and 1971 for the White Pass and Yukon Route (WP&Y) in Skagway, Alaska.

Four units were built by Bombardier in September 1982, but and delivery was delayed. Two were delivered to United States Gypsum as USG #112 and 113 in 1984. One of the unit was destroyed and replaced by unit #111. After a delay of 14 years, unit #114 was delivered to the White Pass and Yukon in 1994.

The second batch of the original 1969 WP&Y DL535's (#101 series) were on the construction floor at Alco (in 1971) when the builder closed it's doors.

White Pass & Yukon DL535E No. 101 meets a cruise ship at the Skagway, Ak., dock on Aug. 20, 1978. At the time, the railroad still operated freight trains utilizing locomotives for each service as needed.

Based on the existing design of the ALCO/MLW DL535, these locomotives share many major similarities, the most obvious difference being the wide Canadian cab. One of the four built eventually made it to the WP&YR to enter service, while the other three were purchased by US Gypsum to operate on their three foot gauge Plaster City railroad.
