E-Bee is an electronic robotic bee designed as MMU’s Mascot. Born out of the Faculty of Creative Multimedia’s ‘Secret Lab’, E-Bee lives in the virtual space inside of computers. The honeybee, conceived on the 1st of August 2001, is about 7cm in height and weight about 200g.

Should the Multimedia University's mascot, E-Bee, be included in our submission? Yes, E-Bee must play a significant role in your short films. How should we incorporate E-Bee into our stories? You may use animation, illustrations, photo edits, sculptures, etc.

This year’s edition of the E-Bee Short Film Contest showcased the exceptional talent and diverse creative expressions within MMU, affirming the university’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of multimedia and filmmaking professionals. The winning video also will be showcased during the upcoming convocation in December 2024.
