Minnesota State Highway 61 (MN 61) is a 150.321-mile-long (241.918 km) highway in northeast Minnesota, which runs from a junction with Interstate 35 (I-35) in Duluth at 26th Avenue East, and continues northeast to its northern terminus at the Canadian border near Grand Portage, connecting to Ontario Highway 61 at the Pigeon River Bridge.

U.S. Highway 61 (US 61) is a U.S. Highway in southeastern and east-central Minnesota, which runs from the Mississippi River Bridge at La Crescent and continues north to its northern terminus at its junction with Interstate 35 (I-35) at the city of Wyoming. US 61 in Minnesota is 165 miles (266 km) in length.

Built in 1926, the 1,400-mile roadway extended from the Gulf of Mexico to Canada until 1990 when it was retired from north of Wyoming, Minn., to near Duluth as its alignment was concurrent with I-35.

U.S. Route 61 or U.S. Highway 61 (U.S. 61) is a major United States highway that extends 1,400 miles (2,300 km) between New Orleans, Louisiana and the city of Wyoming, Minnesota. The highway generally follows the course of the Mississippi River and is designated the Great River Road for much of its route.

MN 61 is a divided highway from here to Duluth while CR 61 follows the coast. Interestingly, the divided highway does not link to I-35. It was supposed to follow a rail ROW paralleling MN 61, but the rail never became inactive, so the highway was never completed.
