Missouri Pacific U23B 4528 was with three geeps in the railroad's Avondale Yard, just west of New Orleans. The 4528 was one of seven MP General Electric units equipped with EMD cabs after their original cabs were damaged beyond easy repair.

Atlas HO U23B Diesel Locomotive with DCC/Sound – MP 2263, MPN 10 003 447. Powered by a V12 FDL prime mover, the 2250 h.p. U23B was GE’s intermediate-sized four-axle road-switcher of the late 1960s through the mid 1970s. The U23B’s direct competitor during this period was the very successful EMD GP38.

2019年5月22日 · I don’t have a delivery date yet but I’ve ordered several of the new and correct Mopac U23B from Atlas. DCC and sound. Per Tom Austin these are 100% accurate for MP. Missouri Pacific Historical Society members will see a generous discount off the retail price. Unit numbers we have coming are 2257 and 2263.
