2023年7月15日 · After getting some inspiration from MP5SD home builds on the forums, I got pumped and decided to try this conversion myself on the clone. I figure: pull the barrel, chop the cocking tube, press on the new barrel, and do a little bit of welding. How hard could it possibly be, right?! The SD Parts List:

To be able to cut out the trigger guard and the trigger, you will have to drill some holes for the blade before you can start cutting. I left the trigger connected to the trigger guard for stability reason... The front handle is the most tricky part. I made it out of a round piece of wood ø25mm.

2019年10月23日 · You can do a handguard without the end cap. The plastic (actually fibreglass) slim G3 handguards have a metal piece in the front that can be cut out with a dremmel. Those are available for about $8. Then you can epoxy that piece into the front of the wood. Different look, but it does work.

2022年11月11日 · The universal A3s can fit on MP5s, MP5/40s and MP5/10s. The regular A3s won't work on the MP5/10s and MP5/40s since they have the bolt hold open feature.

2022年3月19日 · I am looking for a reliable, readable blueprint for the mp5. I would assume all dimensions would be pulled off center line of the bore. These receivers need all the holes located and drilled, mag catch cut out, integrated rear sight base finish machined, and possibly the trigger pack pads machined to correct height.
