2013年1月7日 · After getting a great deal on a used GP30 to add to the roster of BN power I decided to model a former GN GP30 before it was repainted in BN green. The prototype was GN 3000 before it was renumber with the merger to BN 2200.

On my recent trip, I stopped off at Bragdon on the Joint Line. What appeared to be the local came past heading south. I see they are classed as GP39-3s, but will always be 30s to me. However, what are the 2 orange items on the cab roofs? I've not seen this before. There always seems to be new bits on locos when I come over. Thanks, Chris UK.
