The Putrajaya Line is the second line of the Klang Valley MRT Project. The line serves a corridor with a population of around 2 million people stretching from Kwasa Damansara, a new township development in northwest Kuala Lumpur and its southern suburbs, to Putrajaya, Malaysia’s federal administrative centre.

The MRT Putrajaya Line, also known as the PYL, is the second MRT line in the Klang Valley. The launch of Phase 2 of the PYL on the 16th of March 2023 by the Prime Minister YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim marks the full opening of the line that connects Kwasa Damansara to Putrajaya.
