2022年2月24日 · Not every cutter has had the same problems that I've had with the C-M's but most of them have. Husqvarna's advertising campaign is called the Stihl MS 661 C-M. Lots of guys out west here have switched to all orange. The Magnum will reverse that trend. I can hardly wait to get back on the stump.

2022年4月11日 · The ONLY reason you would go with a 462 over a 500i is becuase the 462 is cheaper. 500i will run both a 25 and a 28" bar better than a 462. The weight penalty is almost negligible. Starting is better IMO, power is better, the 500i feels more solid imo. I have both. Had the 462 before I bought the 500i and I just sold my 462 to a buddy.

2019年2月27日 · The wrap around handle is 1142 790 3701 (used on the MS 462 C-M R Rescue, 462 C-M RZ Rescue) and the other wrap around handle is 1142 790 3700 used on the MS 462 C-M RZ. Both of these wrap around handles consist of the same items. Handles from the MS 461 or 661 don`t work on this saw.

2019年2月2日 · Haven't run a 462 c-m yet but it sure looks good on paper for power to weight ratio. BUT, if you want to run a 28" bar, 462 c-m is a slam dunk. I would definitely not run a 28" bar on a 362. I am thinking of buying a 462 c-m and selling my 562xp but the 462 c-m is definitely pricey. Hard to justify the cost when I'm only cutting part time.

2025年1月1日 · for bars 28" and under you stand to gain nothing buying a 500 over a 462. a 462 has better filtration, it's cheaper, it can be reset without having the MDG, a solenoid swap is the culprit for most of it's very sparse running problems.

2019年2月4日 · You could try a reset on the M-tronic and see if it still happens. The very first time I used my 462 I was disappointed in the performance. However, the next day it was a different saw. It’s been amazing ever since. I’ll bet you like it a lot. I believe mine uses less fuel than my 044. I’m using Motomix in my 462.

2015年8月19日 · I'm currently trying to decide between the Stihl MS 261 and MS 362. I'm interested in finding out about people's experiences of comparative performance and reliability. I've been advised by a couple of pros to go for the 362 as I won't have any trouble handling the larger saw, but I want to make sure I've done my homework before dropping the money.
