2003年7月18日 · The MSD 5C was designed for direct plug in to a older model Chrysler ignition, it is similar in specs as the current MSD 5 Series Ignition PN 5200, which you can find in our website. 2014年6月3日 · probleme msd , 5 flash at the ignition on Yes the same i have the same problemes i have 2 msd6al 2 blaster2 on a 911 engine ( twin spark) complet test on ground and 12v , all ok but 5 flash on the red led when i put ignition ON ( same on the 2 MSD),. When i insiste whe heard there is just some spark but impossible to put the engine on.

2016年3月18日 · The new MSDView4.2.3 has fixed some problems I had with trying to enter time value numbers in the 1.15 range in Launch Retard. Also, in the 1.6.0 and later Firmware versions, MSD changed the Output Switch time settings that were originally 0.00 to only 0.0 .

Not sure if my box is dying or sick, (I wish I knew what the signs of a dying MSD 6AL are). For other reasons I decided to retro to a vac advance HEI system with a 5-pin module and it was'nt happy with the MSD box, (stalling and timing issues). It stalled at differant speeds when I acellerated and darn near died a few times.

The first was last October with the old MSD box firing a bank of 4 coils, all 4 plugs fires at the same time with every otehr spark being wasted. The second video was with the old MSD box firing two coils, no trail plugs in use. This was with a stock 12a getting 150 hp shot of nitrous. This pass was a 4.59 at 76 mph turning the motor 9,200 rpm's.

2015年8月22日 · People are all over the place, and the MSD manual couldn't be more vague. I have a new 6AL. With key ON and in NON-START position, I get LED on briefly, followed by the dreaded 5 flashes (seems common), then it goes off and stays off. Car runs bad with this unit. I also have a new 6A.
