The 2020 Mid-Season Invitational (MSI 2020) would have seen the champions of each competitive region compete for the MSI title, and would have been the second most important international event of the year, behind Worlds.

The Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) features the winners from 12 individual Riot leagues spring splits competing in the 6th annual tournament. On April 23, Riot Games announced that the MSI has been canceled due to the worldwide Coronavirus epidemic. Mid-Season Cup 2020 was held for the LCK and LPL teams as a substitute for the cancelled MSI.
