I ran into a lot of guys buying the 3090 that were engineers, an Army Officer, IT and programmers that made $140K to $250K and a $1500 video card was nothing to them or paying $2200 for a voucher. The kid that gave me $1150 for my EVGA 3090 looked rich. But it is a problem.

2025年2月7日 · MSRP? Good luck. You will see it when there's enough product in the channel to saturate the market. Which is, intentionally, being prevented from happening. Look to Intel for MSRP, they are releasing product at their stated values. Problem is their CPUs are trash and their GPUs are low to mid range.

2022年12月25日 · 3090/Tis were going for $1000-1100 until Nvidia and AIBs sold through the stock. That shows Nvidia overcharged us on the 3090. So the new MSRP $999 3090 made the 4090 60% more expensive. We paid for the performance increase. None of us are getting a great deal on anything from Nvidia.

2004年8月1日 · Not really. Every other generation or so the prices go up. Remember, the RTX 2080 Ti was $1,200 at a minimum and the Titan V was $2,500. The RTX 3090 replaced the Titan V and was $1,499. 2025年2月10日 · There was no way I was spending that kind of money on a card that wasn't really that much better than my existing RTX 2080 Ti in that game. I was tempted given the price and seemingly better availability over the 3090, but I'm glad I held out for the latter. It's pretty much the same story but worse with the 7900XTX.

2020年9月25日 · Yeah, definitely not paying anything over Nvidia msrp. If partner cards turn out better than FE, I'll pay a little more but not a premium for minimum gain. I just upgraded and am quite happy with my set up now. Only reason I'd go for 30 series or 6000 series is for shits, giggles and money...

2021年1月6日 · As for the 3090, my guess is that Nvidia is getting great yields with the 102 die that to them they want to sell as many of them as $1500+ 3090's instead of $700 3080's. This is where I suppose the 3080 Ti is going to come in if rumored pricing is correct. 3080 will still be MIA and now your options for 102 die cards will be $1000-$1200 card or ...

2005年12月19日 · While this is certainly impressive, it is considerably less than what we got from RTX 3090 Ti to RTX 4090 (+51%). NVIDIA still achieves their "twice the performance every second generation" rule: the RTX 5090 is twice as fast as the RTX 3090 Ti. There really isn't much on the market that RTX 5090 can be compared to.

1997年5月18日 · The problem is at the $1,500 to $1,8850 price point the consumer can choose from the ready 6900XT with poor ray tracing or the semi-available from a Best Buy drop 3080ti and possibly an occasional 3090 for near MSRP. The 6900XT has less to differentiate it from the 6800XT as compared to the 3080 vs. 3080ti vs the 24 gigs of VRAM in the 3090.
