Rapid 227 is a new route (high-frequency, limited stop service) in South Bay. SANDAG, in partnership with MTS, will develop a new Mobility Hub in San Ysidro to make travel in the border region easier and more sustainable. The Bus on Shoulder Pilot Project will allow Rapid buses to operate on freeway shoulders during heavy traffic congestion.
