The MX2 is a carbon fiber, two seat tandem sport aircraft produced by MX Aircraft of Perth, Western Australia. The MX2 has been used by competitors in the annual Red Bull Air Race World Championship. The MX2 was based on the Giles G-202 aerobatic trainer, the first prototype was a modified G-202 and first flew in May 2002. [1] .

Pilot Rob Holland won the Eric Muller Trophy flying a MXS at the 2019 World Aerobatic championships. The two-seat version is called the MX2 and has reached notable fame, becoming World Aerobatic Advanced Champion under the control of Rob Holland (pilot) in 2008 and also vice-world aerobatics advanced champion in 2010.

The MXS was designed to set a new standard in unlimited performance aircraft in a somewhat aging aerobatic market place. It is a close relative to our already popular MX2 but with more design emphasis placed on performance and agility.

The MX II Sprint is ideal for the recreational flier and flight schools. Its high lift, single surface wings give it an exceptionally short take-off roll and predictable handling at very low flight speeds. These characteristics make the MX II Sprint easier to learn to fly than anything in its class.
