All versions of Maadi grips are made of very soft plastic, so its becoming harder and harder to find undamaged ones in either version. :/ There have been guys who have color matched and lightly clear coated more commonly found grips, in order to mimic authentic Maadi ones.

2024年6月15日 · All Steyr Maadi AKMs are the only real Egyptian pre-ban AKM and are well into the serious collector status category. It doesn't hurt their value either, that just such Steyr rifles were used in multiple action films in the 80's, like Red Dawn, Rambo II & III, etc.
