2006年9月20日 · In OS X the Trash icon is in the Dock. If you Dock is on the bottom of the desktop the Trash will be the last item on the right. If your Dock is on either the left or right, the Trash will be the last item at the bottom. In Operating Systems prior to OS X, the Trash was on the bottom left of the desktop. Goodl luck. cornelius

2008年1月18日 · The User Trash folder, is an invisible folder in the Home directory. You may have more than one problem. Navigate to HD > Users > Your Account > Library > Preferences: in this folder, locate, and move to the Desktop this file com.apple.dock.plist. Restart the Mac. Does the Trash Alias, in the Dock reappear?

2009年11月27日 · I opened up the trash, did a Cmd-A to select all, then a Cmd-I to find out how (collectively) big all of these files were and when my Mac tried to access the files to see their size, they disappeared. I have no idea why that was the thing that worked, but my Trash is empty and the paper in my trash icon is gone.

2023年1月31日 · The file size is small and is not "locked". One temporary fix I found is to press the "x" button, which normally cancels the emptying process. However, in my case, the trash gets emptied whenever I do that. I am using Mac OS 13.1 on a MacBook Pro with M1 Max chip and the device has plenty of free space on the hard drive.

2018年8月13日 · Trash bin MBP M1 Pro 2021 running Monterey 12.2.1 Was having issues with deleted files not going to trash and being deleted immediately. Community advice was to delete the trash folder, and then it would be created automatically using correct permissions. Have deleted it, but it is not being created automatically again.

(You can even remove the Finder icon, but I don't recommend that). This process is reversible.
