2003年4月10日 · The SE keyboards are available too, but much harder to find in very good condition though. I bought a couple that looked good in the ebay photos but were heavily discoloured or stained or damaged in reality.

2021年10月8日 · So, you were spot on, my machine was a M5011, which is a regular SE, so it must have been the last “iteration” of the regular SE before the Classic took over in late 1990-91. Anyways, I got an ACTUAL SE SuperDrive off eBay, it arrived yesterday. After verifying the ROM and SWIM, it looks to be a real 1.4MB capable machine! Yay!

I know about the Asante MacCon PDS Ethernet card for the IIsi and SE/30, but can't seem to find one. There's one here on ebay, but waaay out of my price range:

2013年2月26日 · I tried to format a 100MB ZIP disk on the PowerMac with FWB Hard Disk ToolKit 4.0 and copy a System Folder from System 6.0.8 on it. I put the zip disk in the Mac SE SCSI Zip Drive and it won't boot, I have termination on and SCSI ID set to 6, it is plugged into the motherboard with a 50-pin ribbon cable (same one used for the HD).

2021年8月5日 · Hi, Recently acquired and repaired a Mac Classic SE with all new caps and Blue Scsi and want to max out RAM on it. I've got plenty of 4Mb Simms I made which is great for upgrading classic II's but can the SE be upgraded past 4Mb with a upgraded ROM maybe?

2022年5月21日 · I've recently joined the classic mac owners club, with three fixer upper SE/30's in various states of decay. Having selected the best logic board of the three, with no leaking caps or exploded battery. I've cleaned and recapped it. Not yet recapped the analog board or PSU but have checked the rail voltages, which all seem pretty close.

2018年1月15日 · It may be a jumper issue or it may be the Mac SE just doesn't have the juice to spin this one up. I have tried with Motor Start Enable on and off. With it on, the disk doesn't spin at boot, so it seems to do the opposite of what it implies (i.e. Enabled means it waits for a signal from the SCSI chain to power up).
