MACNY, The Manufacturers Association serves over 300 businesses and organizations across New York including industrial manufacturing companies and non-industrial service providers that support the manufacturing community. For many years, MACNY has maintained a resume bank that allowed candidates to forward their resumes to MACNY to then be shared with companies searching for candidates. We act as a group sponsor (MACNY obtained the first-in-the-state approval from the NYSDOL to become a “group sponsor” for advanced manufacturing). We help companies access funding streams on the behalf of companies to offset the cost of managing their program.

Celebrating 100 years in 2013, MACNY provides advocacy support, human resource services, training, purchasing solutions, and networking opportunities for its members.

MACNY currently sponsors seven of the most desired trades in Central New York. They work closely with the New York State Department of Labor in order to place skilled apprentices with small and medium businesses. Doing so helps bolster the manufacturing industry, which is currently experiencing a skills gap.
