2023年6月30日 · So I sat down and interviewed 4 people from the community - Magi, Dara (Ult commentator), Romolla (top Guilty Gear player/streamer), and Josh (big Smash TO) - and got their thoughts on it. I did my best to weave what they said together into something kinda narrative and personal, but also still analytical and insightful.

2020年12月22日 · 2017 was when magi first started taking big names regionally (i.e. texas PR level—she didn’t have much competition in louisiana). 2018 she started beating top 100 players and landed at 97th MIOM. start of 2019 she beat mango at genesis and it was all downhill from there. i think magi’s been top 50 every ranking since that win.

I really hope that Magi gets the respect and appriciation she deserves but basically I wanted someone to tell me if there was a woman in the top 100 previously. 2021年12月6日 · During Magi's subathon to make it into Summit, Magi and KJH went head to head in a first to 100 (or best of 199). From what I could find, these two had only played each other in tournament 2 times, once IRL at FortCON 2019 in Grand Finals where KJH won 3-0, and the other time online at Garbage Connection #26 in Losers Semis with Magi winning 3-2.

I don't know, Magi has been making steadily doper waves pretty much every year, and as much as I enjoy delicious, delicious spacie tears, I think the birds among us need a solo main earnestly driving for the top who isn't BillyBrassBollocks
