They don't have any S3 mkII on demo and also Magico has discontinued making them. I heard the aluminum extrusion tool that makes the S3 mold has run into some issues and Alon and the engineers are working on a replacement for the S3.

2019年1月1日 · @stereo5 you may be mixing A3 with something else. It’s $9800. Original S3 MKI was $22600 Also while Magico sound may have a signature, it has changed over time and become more neutral/ musical. One couldn’t call original Q3s neutral.

2023年8月16日 · Considering everything, including price I decided to go with the Boulder 1160/1110 combination. I really liked this combination with the Magico S3 2023, M2 and M3 speakers (IMO more amp, such as the Boulder 2150's or the CH Precision M10's in mono configuration, is needed for the M6 no matter what Magico says about recommended power).

2013年10月30日 · The S3's having a smaller form factor & 2 x 8" drivers instead of 10's on the S5's which means they will be better suited to a small to small-medium room where they will be capable of pressurizing the room properly & getting some bass reinforcement from the room. Ie: The importance of good room coupling cannot be underestimated.
