I just took the switch out using a Wiha-brand T8 torx wrench for $1.30 shipped (Amazon - no $25 minimum purchase required). It looks like a standard Allen-key wrench L-shape but with a Torx tip.

2017年7月4日 · Switch removal on a working Maglite is fairly easy. Videos are available all over online but basically you'll have to remove the switch cover (it just pulls off), and then insert either a 5/64" hex key down through the switch as shown below or Mag Instrument's proprietary torx key.

2024年11月16日 · Never been in a light. It is at least 10 years old, so double check your light and make sure it is the right size. The switch is for the C cell lights. The black plastic base is about 1" wide. The threaded aluminum ring is a little wider.
